My interests are varied. I have found my translation work with humanitarian texts fascinating and rewarding, but I am also interested in exploring science and engineering texts, after working as multi-lingual administrative support in an engineering company. I have an A-Level in history, and studied history during my degree in Modern Foreign Languages, with a particular emphasis on 20th Century European history. I have been teaching individuals to play the piano for a number of years, so I am very knowledgeable about music. Psychology is a field that particularly interests me, and in which I have read quite extensively. My hobbies include art, crafts (especially wool crafts), and board games. I am also an avid reader and write some poetry, so would love to undertake some literary translation.
